Summer Concert
The 2012 Summer Concert will be performed at the DAC studio theater on August 17th at 4:00 PM for participants in the main division summer workshops (all-day programs, not individual classes).
To be eligible, students need to participate in the four weeks immediately prior to the concert.
All rehearsals are held during the regularly scheduled workshop times. All students meeting the eligibility requirements are cast. Other students will act as ushers and backstage help for the concert.
Each performer is eligible for two complimentary tickets to the Summer Concert. However, an order form needs to be returned by July 1 to ensure that those tickets are held. Otherwise, tickets are released for general sale. In the past, this concert has sold out within a week.
Selected performers from any of the concerts may travel abroad for international dance festivals. Passports and other travel expenses will be the responsibility of the dancers.
