February Calendar of Events:

  1. Last week to donate to the Academy’s Community service project / food drive for the Holliston Pantry.  The collection bin is to the right of the water machine.
  2. Mrs. Edison is away Feb 12- 22nd.  Try to make all inquiries and appointments during this coming week.  Ms. Krolak, Ms. Yolanda and Mr. Stewarte will sub for all her classes.  Kristin Clerico will determine if there should be a snow cancellation.  Ms. Yolanda will  oversee the Student Dance Concert on Feb 12th.
  3. The Student Concert is this weekend: Feb 11th at 7-8PM, Feb 12th at 2-3 and 5-6 PM.  Tickets are still available.  Tickets are $13 for children and $15 for adults.  Orders placed after February 3rd will be available for pick up at the door on the day of the performance.  No one can be admitted without a ticket.  Additional tickets purchased at the door cost $17.00 for all audience members.  Your support helps cover the cost of the stage lighting (almost $1,000 this year) with a small stipend to cover faculty time and effort teaching students production skills.
  4. DAC is closed Feb 19th – 21st.
  5. February Vacation Dance Camp Feb 22nd – 24th
  6. FREE Studio Performance given by our 10 competitors: Wed, Feb 29th 6:00-7:00PM.  Young Audience members are encouraged to come in PJ’s.
  7. March 1st is the deadline to submit your application and $250 deposit for our Academy for 2012-2013.

Freda Dancewear orders:  Most orders have finally arrived.  Thank you for your patience.  You may pick up your order at the front office.


Unitard sale:  Want a back-up unitard for class? …A base on which to create a costume? A bin of gently used unitards is at the front office.  Each unitard is only $10!  Go hog-wild!

Summer Program Information has been distributed and posted on the DAC web site..  Sign up before the Feb. winter break to reserve your spot.  "I want to keep exploring my options." – Too much unstructured time leads to wasted time, mischief and boredom.  Summer could feel too long, making you wish you signed up for a dance program that challenges fitness and imagination.


DAC now has 143 students enrolled.  Thank you for spreading the good word about DAC!

  • Movement Experiences for 3 year olds: Saturday 11:15-11:45
  • Creative Movement I for 4 year olds, Thursday 9:30-10:15AM.
  • Creative Movement II for 5-7 year olds, Tuesday 4:30-5:30PM
  • Body Sculpt for adults Thursday, 9:15-10:15AM Starts January 4th!
  • Tap for adults Thursday 7:30-8:30PM
