HAPPENING NOW

Student Choreography Showcase

Saturday March 16th, 4-5 p.m.

Live streamed via Eventbrite – Click here for tickets!**

The Student Choreography Showcase is one our favorite yearly events at Dancing Arts Center. This is an opportunity for all DAC students – from Primary through Adult – to gain insight and experience not only with dancing but with creating a concept, developing choreography, selecting music, choosing costume, working through a rehearsal and preparation schedule, and performing the piece for an audience.

Join us on Saturday to cheer on and support our dancers as they bring their artistic concepts to life!

** All proceeds support the Kristin Lally Clerico Scholarship for Dance Education, which assists promising students who wish to train professionally and pursue dance either in college or as a professional career path. **

Dancing Arts Center

About Us

Dancing Arts Center provides world-class instruction in classical ballet, modern dance, tap, jazz, improvisation, and choreography. Our faculty includes life-long professionals from around the world. Dancing Arts Center offers a variety of professional performance opportunities including The Nutcracker at The Norwood Theatre, Youth America Grand Prix, and our annual Spring Concert. Our exceptional programs provide a foundation for dance that promotes physical, intellectual, and artistic growth.

Dancing Arts Center believes in a serious yet nurturing dance education for all our students, whether they are aspiring professionals or not. All students are encouraged at Dancing Arts Center, and our small class size fosters careful and progressive development of each student’s artistry and technique. The kindness and respect we afford our students inspires them to strive for their personal best.

Dancing Arts Center students reap the myriad rewards of training in a professional environment: developing inner awareness, exploring creativity, rising to physical and emotional challenges, setting and meeting goals, strengthening confidence, and building character. Our students’ dance skills can blossom in a variety of ways, and their love for and devotion to the art of dance can peak at different times, but the enthusiasm and joy that each student experiences is a result of his or her own effort and achievements.

While some Dancing Arts Center alumni have gone on to continue dancing in college programs and professional dance companies including American Ballet Theater and Cincinnati Ballet, others have pursued a variety of careers such as photography, web design, and finance. Our students’ dance education shapes their perspective of life so that they are prepared for whatever opportunities may arise in their futures. Dancing Arts Center is committed to providing a uniquely supportive artistic environment where young people can embark on their own journeys of personal growth.
